"All Politics is Local" is an expression used to describe how all nationwide and federal politics - even international politics - begins locally. For our politicians to get elected they must start with a base of support somewhere.
And the concept applies across the board. You want to change your state or county? Those politics also start locally. Often we are watching the news, considering how things are ever going to change and we might make the critical error of thinking those at the top have the power of influence to change everything!? But the truth is long term change happens because the status quo changes, and where? First and foremost, in our town, our neighborhoods, in our families!
